Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu

Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu

The Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu Tour offers an unforgettable experience for those travelers eager to spend a night in Aguas Calientes and be among the first to explore the famous Inca city. This journey is well designed for visitors to admire and learn about the beauty of the Sacred Valley, and then venture into the charismatic town of Aguas Calientes (also known as “Machu Picchu Pueblo”).

Upon arrival in the town, you will have ample time to explore every corner and discover the main tourist attractions of the area. A clear example is its relaxing and revitalizing hot springs, which provide perfect relief after a day of exploration. Besides its thermal baths, Aguas Calientes also hosts other captivating attractions such as the Butterfly Garden, where various local species can be observed, and the Artisan Market, where travelers can purchase unique, handmade souvenirs. The most unforgettable part of this adventure is undoubtedly witnessing the stunning sunrise over Machu Picchu, as it is shrouded in morning mist and then illuminated by the first rays of the sun, highlighting its stone structures.

In summary, you will enjoy a tranquil journey through the Sacred Valley, observing the picturesque landscape along the Vilcanota River, passing through the historic town of Ollantaytambo. This trip culminates with a Machu Picchu Tour (according to the chosen circuit), where you will explore different sectors of the archaeological site, from the Main Plaza to the Temple of the Sun. Finally, after a day full of discoveries, the journey back to the city of Cusco will mark the end of this memorable adventure.
