Andes Machu Picchu

We kick off the day with a hearty breakfast, gearing up for our visit to the Machu Picchu Citadel. Your journey to the Citadel offers two options: a bus ride or a scenic 1 hour and 30 minute trek. The initial 30 minutes consist of a flat walk to the Ruinas bridge, followed by a well marked ascent through stands.

Upon arrival, our guided tour of this mysterious city lasts approximately 2 hours, exploring iconic sites like the Royal Mausoleum, Temple of the Three Windows, Main Temple, Sacred Square, and the renowned Intihuatana. Discover stairways, squares, fountains, and more.

After the tour, you have the option to climb Huayna Picchu Mountain, but this alternative requires the purchase of a new ticket (Circuit 3: Route 3A) and must be booked in advance. Afterward, you can descend to Aguas Calientes by bus or on foot, depending on your preference. In the evening, board a train to Ollantaytambo, where our driver awaits to return you to Cusco City. Concluding the Andes Machu Picchu hike.
