Reusable snack bags

And to this day plastic contamination worldwide is a real and very serious problem, and mainly due to its misuse of it. To solve it we have to change our habits, not only in our daily routine but also during a trip and rethink the way in which we produce and consume.

Maybe you could ask, what does this have to do with travel? The reality is that a lot since it is absolutely true that we are all part of the problem, even when we are on vacation. Today we are traveling more than ever and every time we do we leave a mark. But it is up to us to change the impact we cause and how it affects the planet.

Plastic bags are not necessary at all, are made from oil, take between 150 and 1,000 years to decompose and many of them end up in the sea (and in the stomach of our marine neighbors). Instead, reusable bags save money, help reduce waste, and are multi-purpose. For this reason, our company has chosen to use reusable snack bags in our effort to respect the environment.

Inca Trail Machu will provide the "Reusable Snack Bags". It is a small cotton bag for you, where you can carry your snack and water. In case you finish your snack, you can go to the local market to buy another snack to reuse the bag.
