The Cerrito de La Libertad is a very visited tourist attraction, being an excellent viewpoint from which you can see the city of Huancayo, part of its districts of El Tambo and Chilca, which are the best known, occupying most of the population in the province. You can also see other places in the Mantaro Valley.
In this place we can find a swimming pool for adults and children, an acoustic shell, a zoo, restaurants with typical food from the region, games for family and children, a chapel with an attractive construction for tourists, a small plane and in general it is a place to being able to hang out as it also has small parks where you can rest.
It is located practically in the very center of the city of Huancayo, getting there is relatively easy as all types of vehicles arrive and it is known by the vast majority of people in the area. Its access is free, but some of its services such as the pool and the zoo are paid.
The acoustic shell has been used for quite some time to develop all types of presentations such as concerts, it can accommodate approximately 2000 people, it has a booth in the shape of the head of a condor which is a representative bird of the Peruvian mountains.
